Pratibha Protsahan Yojana A Governor of Assam Initiative for 512 dedicated UPSC Aspirants-Admit Card

The Pratibha Protsahan Yojana will provide support to the 512 dedicated Aspirants (both direct and online), by offering them necessary resources and mentorship to excel in both Prelims and Mains of the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

Interested candidates can apply through online mode only from 5 PM of 27^th September, 2024 till 5 PM of 6^th October, 2024.

About Pratibha Protsahan Yojana :

A remarkable step taken by Honorable Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya towards empowering the youths of Assam by launching financial assistance programme on 17th September, 2024, specifically designed for aspirants of the UPSC Civil Services Examination. The scheme is funded by Raj Bhavan, Assam, and partnering agencies.

Applicant should remember that examination zonal centers will be in Guwahati, Silchar, Jorhat and Bongaigaon. They must fill their preference for Examination Zone while applying for the scheme. The Centers and the date of holding the examination as mentioned above are liable to be changed at the discretion of Raj Bhavan, Assam.

Pratibha Protsahan Yojana Direct Mode :

Coaching for both UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary and Main) Examination in the Delhi NCR region (for direct mode aspirants). The aspirants will get Full funding for accommodation, food, and mentorship. + 2 students will be mentored (coached) by Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan and sponsored by Raj Bhavan, Assam. + 10 will be mentored (coached) by Project UPSC of Paavan Chintan Dhara Ashram, who will bear all costs involved.

Pratibha Protsahan Yojana Online Mode :

The online aspirants will get Mentorship via video conferencing from top institutions in Delhi NCR. + 500 numbers of aspirants will be mentored (coached) by Project UPSC of Paavan Chintan Dhara Ashram.

How to Apply for Pratibha Protsahan Yojana ?

Interested candidates can apply directly by visiting the official website ( website link is available in the important links section ). First of all candidates need create a account using their e-mail ID and contact number.The information required to be submit during online application is available also in the important link section.

Screening Process of Pratibha Protsahan Yojana :

1. Preliminary Screening of Application Forms based on Class 12th Percentage and Graduation Percentage to select the Top 5,000 aspirants who will be eligible to appear in the Screening Test
2. Screening Test for 5,000 aspirants will be held at Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar and Bongaigaon.
   • The screening test will be in written mode through OMR-based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Descriptive Essay.
3. The syllabus for the Screening Test will be the same as that of UPSC CSE (Preliminary) Examination.
4. The duration of the screening test will be 2 hours for the OMR-based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and additional 30 minutes for the Descriptive Essay.
5. Result of the screening test will be declared online through the website.

Group Counseling and Personal Interview:

Top 600 aspirants will be called for a group counseling session at Guwahati by the partner agencies.

A merit list will be prepared through which the Top 50 aspirants who prefer direct mode of coaching will appear for the Personal Interview a day after the Group Counseling Session.

Finally, 12 aspirants out of the 50 appearing for interview will be selected for a fully funded direct mode coaching programme at coaching centres in Delhi NCR.

The remaining aspirant will be selected for the Online Coaching Programme. They will be connected to the coaching centre based at Delhi NCR by online mode through a registration process.

Documents Required :

A recent passport size colour photograph preferably with white background.

The aspirant should scan his photograph in JPEG or JPG format.

The size of file should not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than
20 KB. Minimum resolution of the file should be 350 pixels (width) x 350 pixels
(height) and maximum 1000 pixels (width) x 1000 pixels (height). Bit depth of
image file should be 24 bit.

The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

The aspirant should scan his sign in JPEG or JPG format.

The file size should not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than
20 KB. Minimum resolution of the file should be 350 pixels (width) x 350 pixels
(height) and maximum 1000 pixels (width) x 1000 pixels (height). Bit depth of
image file should be 24 bit.

Applicants need to upload ( only Pdf ) all relevant documents as per the Advertisement
(Marksheets / Certificates-HSLC, HSSLC, Degree, Postgraduate, Any other).

Size of file should be in the range of 500 KB to 1 MB.

Upload your scanned copy of Aadhaar Card in PDF format only.

The digital size of the file should not exceed 300 KB each and must not be less than
20 KB.
