Recently, the central government has announced 3 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees. With this hike in DA, the total DA of employees has reached 53 percent of their basic pay. The employees will receive an arear for July, August, and September with their October month salary .

The 7th Pay Commission 2016, recommended fitment factor was 2.57. The minimum pay scale for central government employees increased to 18000 per month from 8000 per month. Minimum pension amount jumped from 3500 per month to 9000 per month.

# After the implementation of 8th pay commission, basic salary of employee could rise up to 30/35 percent.
