Matri Pitri Vandana is a special leave for employees of the government of Assam. It was introduced in 2021 by the government of Assam, aiming to provide special holidays for their employees to give time to their parents. The Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced it this year as well.

Matri Pitri Vandana 2024

This year the state government employees of Assam will be able to get Matri Pitri Vandana special casual leave on 6 & 8 November 2024. These leaves shall not be deducted from the regular casual leave. The Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has urged the government employees to make use of the special holidays in spending quality time with parents, in-laws and other family members. Government employees who are interested in this special Casual leave will be able to avail by applying online. The employees will enjoy a consecutive five day leave with this special leave program.

# Eligibility: The candidate must be a employee of Government of Assam.

# Documents Required:

• Official ID (Jpeg or JPG format) only, Max Height: 700px, Max Width: 900px allowed. Maximum file size- 5 MB.
• Passport Size Photograph(JPEG/JPG format only), Dimension: 600×600 allowed. Maximum file size- 3 MB.

How to Apply for Matri Pitri Vandana Leave?

The candidate have to follow following steps to submit their application.

1. Go to the Portal : https://matripitrivandana.assam.gov.in
2. Click on the Register button and provide the Data for Registration.
3. Provide the Mobile Number used during the time of Registration.
4. OTP will be sent to the Registered Mobile Number.
5. Use the OTP for login.
6. After login click on apply button to apply for leave & fill in the details of the leave in the form.
7. Click on view details button to view the apply option.
8. Click on generate button to generate the application which needs to be signed by Head of the
   Department and the applicant.
9. After availing the leave, click on upload button to upload the photograph ( 2 Nos. ) along with
   the signed application downloaded earlier for final approval of the leave.
